For Peace Talks, the judges will use the following rubric.
- Content, message, theme adherence: 10 points
Presents a clear, compelling, and well-developed message related to peace, justice, reconciliation, and conflict transformation. - Storytelling: 20 points
Inspires through the use of stories, narrative, description and imagery. - Argumentation, research and evidence: 20 points
Persuades through the use of credible sources, examples, stories, statistics and other evidence to support claims. - Originality and insight: 10 points
Offers fresh perspectives, creative thinking or unique insights rather than relying on clichés or simplistic solutions. - Impact and call to action: 10 points
Inspires the audience through new awareness, understanding and/or a call to action. - Delivery: 10 points
Demonstrates confidence, poise and authenticity. - Vocal effectiveness: 10 points
Uses appropriate volume, pace, articulation, emotional expression and vocal variety. - Audience engagement: 10 points
Maintains attention through storytelling, questions, examples, humor, suspense or other techniques.
